I can't believe I've now been dieting for 5 months.

🔸5 months prep

🔸2 qualifier shows, 2 placings, 2 invites to finals

🔸Hours and hours of cardio & training

🔸Hundreds of kilos of food consumed

And next weekend it is all over for this year.

My last competition will be the NABBA British Finals which is on the 28th May (next weekend) I do have an invite to the PCA British Finals 3 weeks after however I won't be taking part in these. Why? I hear you say. It's been a very long prep with ups and downs and there are a few reasons why I won't be taking part. Once of which is because I don't believe that I am at a competitive enough level just yet, I am also physically and mentally tired with prep. I'm ready to give my body a much needed rest and recovery. Focus on getting back into some normal eating habits, a controlled offseason with some hard training - I'm very much looking forward to being able to hit the gym hard and make some gains in size. I have also decided that I won't be competing next year, again because I want to have a decent offseason before I come back and compete again.

It's almost time to focus on building my business as a personal trainer, I want to go on more courses and invest more time into my education and learning.

UNTIL THEN, I have one more week to smash the hell out of my cardio and training in the run up to Saturdays competition! The final countdown is upon us...
