Yesterdays Antics

Had such a great day yesterday - I'm not much of a drinker anymore however yesterday was the first time this year that I went out for a drink with my step dad and my best mate. It felt great to get out and have a laugh in the sunshine, sitting by the canal with a pint talking about life and watching the boats go through the lock. We started our pub crawl at 2pm and ended up at the Waterfront in Notts until quite late. I ended up having a dance off... I got my ass kicked completely (unbelievable). We all ended up in McDonalds for a late night feast before heading off home... Next thing I know I wake up at 4am on top of my bed with massive panda eyes, must have been tired.

Definitely paid for it this morning, one thing I don't miss about going out.. Feeling like absolute death the morning after. Feels like a day wasted when I've got to sit in because i'm too hungover to function like a normal human - I've been in and out of sleep all day watching the crime channel, feeling sorry for myself. Luckily the hangover was short lived and my brain function has almost returned to normal so i've been able to get some work done on the laptop! Thats my night out for the year complete - takes me until next summer to properly recover again.
